Admissions Admissions Requirements Interior Design Digital Design Web Design Graphic Design Multimedia & Web Design Curriculum A prospective student seeking admission to these programs at The Art Institute Online, a division of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, must be a high school graduate with a high school GPA of 2.0, or hold a General Educational Development (GED) Certificate, or a bachelor's degree or higher as a prerequisite for admissions. Game Art & Design Admissions A prospective student seeking admission to this program at The Art Institute Online, must be a high school graduate with a high school QPA of 2.5 or hold a general education certificate or a bachelor's degree or higher as a prerequisite for admissions, in addition. The student will provide 3 drawings submitted digitally upon application to the The Art Institute Online. A prospective student will be advised individually about the requirements of specific online courses. Students enrolling in an online course are required to an online orientation that teaches the usage of the software program and acquaints them with the overall classroom environment. This orientation is conducted prior to the beginning of classes. Admissions Process An application for admission must be completed, signed by the applicant, and submitted to The Art Institute Online with a $50 application fee. The Art Institute Online also requires a copy of the high school transcript or GED scores. Applicants must submit a completed enrollment agreement and a $100 enrollment fee within 10 days of application. Applicants not accepted for admission will receive a full refund of all fees paid. |
