Interior Design Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design The Interior Design Bachelor of Science degree program is now offered by The Art Institute Online, a division of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Part art, part science, interior design goes far beyond decorating. Interior designers have a profound impact on people's lives by creating the surroundings in which they live, work and play. As a student in the Interior Design program, you'll study computer-aided drafting and design, 3D design, space planning, problem solving, and the history of design and architecture. Coursework also covers specialty design, including exhibit design, hospitality design, retail store design and corporate design. In addition, you'll learn how to communicate your design solutions through a variety of visual media. As a graduate of the Interior Design program at The Art Institute Online, you'll be prepared for entry-level positions in interior design fields such as commercial and residential design, space planning,computer-aided drafting, showroom management, and more.
